An Act to provide for the protection and management of the Wet Tropics of Queensland World Heritage Area, and for related purposes Because— 1 The General Conference of the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization adopted the World Heritage Convention for the purpose of assuring the protection of the world's cultural and natural heritage of outstanding universal value.
