State Revenue and Other Legislation Amendment (Budget Measures) Act 2006 No 50 An Act to make miscellaneous amendments to certain State revenue and other legislation in connection with the Budget for the year 2006–07; and for other purposes. 1 Name of Act This Act is the State Revenue and Other Legislation Amendment (Budget Measures) Act 2006. 2 Commencement (1) This Act commences on the date of assent, except as provided by subsections (2) and (3). (2) The following provisions commence, or are taken to have commenced, on the dates indicated: Section 4 and Schedules 2 and 4—the date of assent, or 30 June 2006, whichever occurs first Schedule 1—1 September 2006 Schedule 3—31 December 2006 (3) Schedule 6.1–6.3 commence on a day or days to be appointed by proclamation. 3 Amendment of Acts and other legislation The Acts and other legislation specified in Schedules 1–6 are amended as set out in those Schedules. 4 (Repealed) 5 Repeal of Act (1) This Act is repealed on the day following the day on which all of the provisions of this Act have commenced. (2) The repeal of this Act does not, because of the operation of section 30 of the Interpretation Act 1987, affect any amendment made by this Act. Schedules 1–5 (Repealed) Schedule 6 Miscellaneous amendments to other legislation (Section 3) 6.1 Art Gallery of New South Wales Act 1980 No 65 Section 5 Constitution of Trust Insert after section 5 (2): (3) The Trust is subject to the control and direction of the Minister. 6.2 Australian Museum Trust Act 1975 No 95 Section 5 Constitution of Trust Insert after section 5 (3): (4) The Trust is subject to the control and direction of the Minister. 6.3 Library Act 1939 No 40 Section 3 Constitution of Council Omit section 3 (4). Insert instead: (4) The Council is subject to the control and direction of the Minister. 6.4–6.7 (Repealed)
