Forestry (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2024 An Act to amend the Forest Practices Act 1985 and the Private Forests Act 1994 [Royal Assent 2 October 2024] Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: PART 1 - Preliminary 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Forestry (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2024 . 2. Commencement This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. PART 2 - Forest Practices Act 1985 Amended 3. The amendments effected by this Part have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Forest Practices Act 1985 . 4.
