An Act to authorise the construction by the ausav con "Great Cobar Copper-mining Company canna (Limited)" of a 'Tramway over certain ~— roads and Government Reserves and vacant Crown Lands in the Colony of New South Wales. [4th June, 188-4. | HEREAS the "Great Cobar Copper-mining Company (Limited)? Preamble. have opened and established certain Copper-mines on land situate at Cobar in the county of Robinson in the Colony of New South Wales And whereas the said Company have constructed a Tramway for the purpose of conveying firewood from the Government. Reserve for firewood to the smelting works of the said Company And whereas the line of the said Tramway crosses certain roads and passes along certain Government Reserves and vacant Crown Jands as described in the Schedwe hereto and it is expedient and desirable that c the Company may continue tramway, Power to make extensions, Short title. 49° VIC. 1884. Great Cobar Copper- mining Company Tramway Ye the said Company should be empowered to continue and use the said Tramway and make further extensions of the said Tramway subject to the provisions hercinafter contained Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :— 1. It shall be lawful for the said Company under and subject to the provisions hereinafter contained to continue and use the Tramway already so constructed as above-mentioned and to run locomotive engines and trucks thereon over the roads and along tlic reserves mentioned and described in the Schedule hereto at. the points and in the direction particularly indicated in such Schedule Provided such Tramway shall not occupy in any part thereof across the said roads and along the said reserves and vacant Crown Lands a greater space in breadth than two chains and shall be uscd to carry and convey firewood from the Government reserve for firewood to the smclting-works of the said Company and for no other purpose. 2. The said Company are hereby authorized and empowered from time to time with the consent of the Minister for the time being in charge of the Crown Lands of the said Colony to make and construct any extension of the said line of Tramway in along through and to any part of the said reserve for firewood hereinbefore and in the Schedule hereto mentioned or referred to and any other adjoining rescrve for firewood which may at any time hereafter be made or proclaimed subject however as to any such extension to the proviso hercinbefore contained. 8. This Act shall be styled the " Great Cobar Copper-mining Company Tramway Act of 1884." SCHEDULE. Warrego district county of Robinson parishes of Cobar and Weltie All lands within a distance of one chain on each side of Tramway route Commencing at the smelting-shed of the Great Cobar Copper-imining Company and. erossing the road from HLillston to Bourke at the junction of the road to Louth extending therefrom through the property of the said Company to the west boundary of portion umber one hundred and fifty-one parish of Cobar thence through portions numbers one hundred and fifty-one and one hundred and fifty-three thence crossing the main road from Cobar te Nyngan at a point about cight chains north-easterly from the north-east corner ef the police paddock reserve number five hundred and thirty-six thence through vaeant Crown Lands and through reserve number six hundred and thirty-two thence 'through vacant Crown Lands to reserve for firewood number six hundred' and thirty-three intersecting its western boundary at a point fifty-six chains six links south from north-west corner of said reserve also all lands within a distance of one chain on cach side of the branch line commencing at a point on the main line about one hundred and seventy-cight chains north-w esterly from the reserve for firewood number six hundred and thirty-three aforesaid thence running in a southerly direction cighty chains two and a quarter links and in a south- easterly direction one hundred and fit ty-nine chains thirty-three links through vacant Crown Lands to a point within the same.
