An Act to appropriate out of the Consolidated Fund a sum for the services of the Legislature for

Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2018 No 36 [NSW]
The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:
Name of Act
This Act is the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2018.
Commencement
This Act commences on the date of assent to this Act.
Interpretation
(1) In this Act:
(a) areference to services for which this Act makes an appropriation includes a
reference to the following:
(i) _ recurrent services,
(ii) capital works and services,
(ili) | repayment of debt, and
(b) areference to the year 2018-19 is a reference to the year from | July 2018 to
30 June 2019.
(2)  Areference in the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 to an Appropriation Act or the
Appropriation Act includes a reference to this Act.
Appropriation for services of Legislature
This Act appropriates the sum of $162,132,000 to the Legislature out of the
Consolidated Fund for the services of the Legislature for the year 2018-19.
Note: The appropriation will fund services, as follows:

Payments authorised on lapse of appropriation
(1) | This section applies only if this Act is assented to after 1 July 2018.
(2) Any amounts expended for services under section 25 of the Public Finance and Audit
Act 1983 or any Parliamentary Supply Act on or after 1 July 2018 and before the date
of assent to this Act are taken to have been expended out of the sum appropriated by
this Act.
