Schedule 1—Amendments Medicare Levy Act 1986 1 Subsection 6(1) Omit "1.5%", substitute "2%". 2 Subsection 6(2) Omit "1.5%", substitute "2%". 3 Subsection 6(3) Omit "1.5%", substitute "2%". 4 Subsection 7(4) Omit "$490", substitute "$520". 5 Subsection 8(2) (formula) Repeal the formula, substitute: 6 Subsection 8(2) Omit all the words after the formula. 7 Application of amendments The amendments made by this Schedule apply to assessments for the 2014‑15 year of income and later years of income.
