The whole of this Act The day after this Act receives the Royal Assent. 24 November 2016 Note: This table relates only to the provisions of this Act as originally enacted. Information may be inserted in this column, or information in it may be edited, in any published version of this Act. 3 Schedules Legislation that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms. Schedule 1—Amendments Part 1—Amendments Radio Licence Fees Act 1964 1 Section 5 Before "There", insert "(1)". 2 At the end of section 5 Add: (2) The regulations may make provision for rebates of fees payable by licensees. 3 Subsection 6(2) After "amount", insert "that is 75% of the amount". Television Licence Fees Act 1964 4 Subsection 6(2) After "amount", insert "that is 75% of the amount". Part 2—Application and transitional provisions 5 Application The amendments made by Part 1 of this Schedule apply to a fee payable by a licensee after the commencement of this item. 6 Transitional—licence fee rebate scheme A licensee is not entitled to a rebate under Part 4 of the Television Licence Fees Regulations 1990 for an accounting period (within the meaning of that Part) if the fee for the accounting period is payable after the commencement of this item.
