legislative instruments, notifiable instruments and rules of court, and for related purposes [Assented to 10 September 2015] The Parliament of Australia enacts: 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Acts and Instruments (Framework Reform) (Consequential Provisions) Act 2015. 2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Schedule 1, Part 2 The later of: 24 February 2017 (a) the commencement of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this Act; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of Schedule 4 to the Intellectual Property Laws Amendment Act 2015. However, the provisions do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. 4. Schedule 2, Part 1 A single day to be fixed by Proclamation. 10 March 2016 However, if the provisions do not commence within the period of 6 months beginning on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent, they commence on the day after the end of that period. 5. Schedule 2, Part 2 At the same time as the provisions covered by table item 4. Never commenced However, if that time is the same time as, or after, the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Acts and Instruments (Framework Reform) Act 2015, the provisions do not commence at all. 6. Schedule 2, Part 3 The later of: 10 March 2016 (a) the commencement of the provisions covered by table item 4; and (paragraph (a) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Acts and Instruments (Framework Reform) Act 2015. 7. Schedule 2, Part 4 At the same time as the provisions covered by table item 4. 10 March 2016 8. Schedule 3 The later of: 5 March 2016 (a) the start of the day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Acts and Instruments (Framework Reform) Act 2015. Note: This table relates only to the provisions of this Act as originally enacted. It will not be amended to deal with any later amendments of this Act.
