An Act to establish a Code of Criminal Law Preamble Whereas it is desirable to declare, consolidate, and amend the Criminal Law; Be it enacted and declared by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows— 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Criminal Code Act 1899.
